EaseStroop is a native Stroop Effect training app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, built on the classic cognitive psychology test used to measure attentional control, processing speed, and executive function.

The Stroop Effect is one of the most replicated findings in cognitive science: when the ink color of a color word mismatches the word itself (the word “RED” written in blue), your brain takes measurably longer to name the ink color — because reading is more automatic than color naming. EaseStroop turns this into a precise personal metric.

Run a session in under two minutes. Track your Stroop Score — a composite of reaction time and accuracy — across days and weeks. Stay motivated with streaks, 22 achievements, and a progress dashboard that shows you improving. Choose from three difficulty tiers, four trial types, ten themes, and ten languages.
